This is a missa brevis that sets both the Gloria and Credo as single movements and with telescoped text. The brevity and sparseness of the movement does not easily allow for significant markers for or against Wanhal’s authorship. The use of clarinets (which are most likely too elaborate to have begun life as oboe parts) is suspicious, but these parts may be a later addition.
