This is a slighter work, with no obvious indications for or against Wanhal's authorship. The work survives in two copies, and with no counterattributions.

Key and Categorization

As in most masses labelled minor, this applies only to the first movement. Whereas masses commonly moves to the tonic major, this goes to the relative major (Bb). Since the key of the Kyrie is used for categorisation elsewhere, it is still kept as a mass in G here.

Extent: 484 bars
