Authenticity: Probably Authentic

This work was unknown until it was published by S. A. Steiner. An anonymous necrology refers to Wanhal having finished four masses just before his death, and it seems reasonable to assume that this would have been one of them (if one assumes that two of these were actually offertories, it would fit with the four publications Steiner made in the years 1817 and 1818). Stylistically, the work shows a larger harmonic vocabulary than Wanhal's earlier works, but the attribution remains thoroughly plausible.
